Frequently Asked Questions

Are the hours of operation still the same for the team store, ticket office and administrative office?

The Loons team store, ticket office and administrative office is closed. Normal business hours for the office will be determined once the Stay at Home Order is lifted. Staff are currently working remotely and are available via email/phone. Tickets and merchandise are available for purchase online at Loons.com.

When will the season start?

As of today, a specific start date is unknown. Minor League Baseball (MiLB) is working in coordination with Major League Baseball (MLB) to provide clubs the most up-to-date information related to the 2020 season. This includes when players will report to Spring Training facilities, and when it’s safe to host games and fans again. Given the uncertainty regarding the spread of the coronavirus and the potential effectiveness of all of the measures currently being undertaken, we must still continue to wait for more information before we will have clarity on our start date.

How many games will the team play in 2020?

As of today, the number of games each team will play during the 2020 season is unknown. Once a start date is determined we will know how many games the 2020 season will include.

Will there be attendance restrictions when games resume?

As of today, that is unknown. We will follow any protocols in place for community gatherings in our area when games resume.

Is Dow Diamond prepared to provide a clean and healthy environment for fans?

The Loons have always provided a safe, clean and healthy environment for fans during all games and events. We will be taking all precautions and implementing advanced safety protocols as recommended by the Center for Disease Control and local health authorities. We continue to make the health of guests our top priority and ensure that every possible measure will be taken to ensure the future health of guests to Dow Diamond.

What happens if I have tickets for a game that ends up not being played?

Currently, we plan to treat Single Game ticket purchases to any game not played the same as if that game was rained out. The ticket from the originally scheduled postponed or cancelled game can be exchanged for any remaining regular season game during the 2020 Loons season, based on availability. As we better understand a start date for the 2020 season, we will evaluate this policy and decide if alternate solutions become necessary.

We understand that when games resume, and our community is welcome back at Dow Diamond, individual ticket holders will determine their comfort level for attending games. Our commitment is to put our fans first, always. As such, we will work to create solutions with each fan, to fulfill that commitment.

How does the delay of the 2020 season impact private events and non-Loons events scheduled at Dow Diamond?

Determinations on the status of future events will be addressed when the gathering restrictions currently in place are emended.
