O'Sullivan Promoted to Rancho Cucamonga

MIDLAND, Mich. - The Great Lakes Loons and Los Angeles Dodgers announce that right-handed pitcher Ryan O'Sullivan has been promoted to the Dodgers' California League affiliate, the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

O'Sullivan had the fourth-lowest opponents' batting average in the Midwest League (.201) at the time of his promotion with a 5-4 record and a 2.92 ERA. After beginning the season with six relief appearances, O'Sullivan started in his last nine appearances. In nine starts, O'Sullivan recorded seven quality starts (six innings or more with three earned runs or less). He threw at least six innings in his last eight starts.

Right-hander Gustavo Gomez, today's starting pitcher, has been added to the Loons' active roster.
