FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno Grizzlies, Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, will be giving away a limited edition Tim Lincecum Farm Grown Bobblehead, presented by Kuckenbecker Tractor Co., to the first 2,000 fans through the Chukchansi Park gates on Saturday, June 28. The giveaway night will feature the Grizzlies taking on the Salt Lake Bees, Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, at 7:05 p.m. Gates to the park open at 6:05 p.m. to the general public (5:35 p.m. season-ticket holders).

SPECIAL OFFER:

            Fans can get in free to the Saturday, June 28th bobblehead game when they purchase a ticket to the July 4th game at Chukchansi Park. The deal is redeemable by visiting the Chukchansi Park Box Office, which is located on the corner of H and Kern Streets in Downtown Fresno. Box office hours are 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Fans who have already purchased the July 4th game can show their ticket(s) at the box office prior to Saturday to redeem their complimentary June 28th tickets.

            In 2007, Lincecum went 4-0 with a 0.29 ERA over five starts for the Grizzlies. In those five outings, he only allowed one run over 31 innings pitched. He did not allow more than four hits in any of his outings and struck out a minor-league high 14 in his final start on April 29 vs. Colorado Springs. The Farm Grown star parlayed the success into his first major-league callup, debuting for the Giants on May 6th, 2007. Since then, he has twice won the NL Cy Young award (2008, '09), been named the Sporting News' NL Pitcher of the Year and helped contribute to two World Series Championships (2010, '12). He is the San Francisco Giants franchise leader for number of games pitched with 10 or more strikeouts, while his 265 punch-outs in 2008 are a Giants single season record.

            The giveaway will be available at all Chukchansi Park gates (see additional notes) until supplies last. Fans can still guarantee themselves the Tim Lincecum Bobblehead and all remaining 2014 giveaways by becoming a season ticket holder. Call 559.320.TIXS for more information.

The Chukchansi Box Office (1800 Tulare Street) is open 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and will be open at 10:00 a.m. Saturday. Fans can also purchase tickets online at FresnoGrizzlies.com.
