Gwinnett Braves Release 2014 Schedule

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves released their 2014 regular season schedule on Wednesday, August 14. The sixth season of Triple-A baseball at Coolray Field will begin on Friday, April 11 as the G-Braves take on the International League South Division rival Durham Bulls at 7:05 PM.

The Gwinnett Braves, the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, will play 12 total homestands in 2014, beginning with the five-game opening homestand against Durham (April 11-13) and Norfolk (April 14-15). Three homestands will last three games or less, including April 19-21, August 2-3 and August 20-21, all against Charlotte. 

The rest of the 2014 home slate includes series vs. Lehigh Valley and Buffalo (May 1-8), Indianapolis and Norfolk (May 17-25), Columbus and Rochester (June 3-10), Louisville, Toledo and Charlotte (June 20-29), Durham and Syracuse (July 4-9), Durham and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre (July 17-24), Norfolk and Pawtucket (August 7-14) and Durham and Charlotte (August 26-30). 

Coolray Field will host Gwinnett Braves baseball for 13 of the 22 weekends on the 2014 schedule. For the second-straight year, the G-Braves will play a home game on July 4, a night game against the Durham Bulls. Gwinnett will also be home for Easter Sunday, April 20 vs. Durham.

Game times for all 72 home games have yet to be announced. Information on 2014 weekly promotions and the full 2014 promotional schedule will be released at a later date at gwinnettbraves.com.
