Indianapolis, the Triple-A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, makes its only visit to Lawrenceville this season for a four-game series; The Stripers are 5-1 vs. the Indians so far this season. On Thursday, July 19, the Stripers will host another Bark in the Park Night (presented by Tito's Handmade Vodka). All dogs are welcome to The Bank (grass berm area) at Coolray Field and, as part of the furry festivities, the Stripers will donate a portion of the game-day ticket sales to the Gwinnett County Animal Shelter.
Pawtucket, the Triple-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, also makes its lone trip to Coolray Field for a loaded weekend of activities and giveaways. The three-game series begins Friday, July 20, with Pajamas in the Park, presented by Amica Insurance, as fans are encouraged to wear their comfy clothes to the ballpark. Fans can bring a set of new pajamas to be donated to local nonprofit Jambos, and in turn receive a voucher to a future Stripers game. After the game, enjoy a Fireworks display!
On Saturday, July 21, the Stripers will give away Mike Foltynewicz Gwinnett Bobbleheads to the first 2,500 fans through the gates, presented by Coolray Heating & Cooling. The game includes appearances by Cartoon Network characters. It's also a Friends and Family Night, meaning fans can get one Field Box Ticket and a McDonald's voucher for one large sandwich or four Buttermilk Crispy Tenders for only $15.
Finally, Sunday, July 22 is Christmas in July at Coolray Field. In the spirit of Christmas, Santa Claus and Olaf will be at the game to interact with fans. The Stripers have also teamed up with the Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation to end the cycle of domestic violence for the game.
