Stripers Homestand Highlights: June 19-24

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Stripers welcome the Toledo Mud Hens and the Columbus Clippers for a six-day, seven-game homestand at Coolray Field from Tuesday, June 19 through Sunday, June 24.
The Mud Hens, Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, make their only trip to Lawrenceville this season for a three-game series. After Reel Deal Tuesday on June 19, the Stripers will host another Bark in the Park Night (presented by Tito's Handmade Vodka) on Wednesday, June 20. All dogs are welcome to The Bank (grass berm area) at Coolray Field and, as part of the furry festivities, the Stripers will donate a portion of the game-day ticket sales to a local dog or animal shelter. Thursday, June 21 will be an early 12:05 p.m. start time as we welcome area kids groups for Daycare Day.
The Clippers, the Cleveland Indians' Triple-A affiliate, return for a four-game weekend series. Friday, June 22 - a doubleheader beginning at 5:05 p.m. - will bring international flair to Coolray Field as the Stripers host Friday Night Fútbol. Coinciding with the World Cup, the Stripers are teaming up with Atlanta United FC as an ode to soccer fans. Game two of the doubleheader will include a Pre-Game Parade of Nations, soccer-inspired on-field promotions, Atlanta United-themed Stripers jerseys and Post-Game Fireworks. Fans will be able to bid on the game-worn specialty jerseys, with proceeds going to the Gwinnett Stripers Foundation.
Saturday, June 23 is Friends and Family Night at Coolray Field (presented by McDonald's), as fans can get discounted tickets and a McDonald's food item for only $15. Fans will also receive pieces of bubblegum and will be encouraged to take part in Breathless Blowout (presented by Breathless IPF) to raise awareness of the rare lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. June 24 is another Sunday Funday (presented by Georgia United Credit Union) as fans can play catch on the field prior to the game and kids can run the bases after the game.

Come down to Coolray Field and enjoy a game with your furry friend (valid only at The Bank grass berm area). As part of Bark in the Park the Stripers will donate a portion of the game-day ticket sales to a local dog or animal shelter.
• Worm Wednesday - All fans who present a valid state-issued fishing license at the Ticket Office will receive two Field Box seats for the price of one. Stripers players will wear the popular Worm alternate hat, and fans who purchase apparel featuring the Worm logo from the Team Store will be entered for a chance to win a prize pack.

Thursday, June 21

• Friday Night Fútbol: World Cup Night - While the World Cup is going on in Russia, the Stripers are teaming up with Atlanta United FC for "Friday Night Fútbol!" After the conclusion of game one of a doubleheader, (game one starts at 5:05 p.m.), a Parade of Nations will take place on the field. During the second game, enjoy soccer-themed promotions and bid on game-worn Atlanta United FC-inspired Stripers jerseys!
• Post-Game Fireworks - Stick around after the game for a fantastic Fireworks display!

Saturday, June 23

• Breathless Blowout (presented by Breathless IPF) - Minor League Baseball and Boehringer Ingelheim are teaming up to raise awareness of the rare lung disease idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Fans exiting the stadium will receive bubblegum pieces and information cards about IPF.

Sunday, June 24

• Sunday Funday (presented by Georgia United Credit Union) - Fans are invited to play catch on the field before the game starting at 12:05 p.m. and lasting approximately 20 minutes. Before and during the game, fans can get their faces painted. And after the game, kids (ages 12 and under) are welcome to run the bases to cap "Sunday Funday" presented by Georgia United Credit Union!
