Masks are required for all fans over the age of 2 while inside LP Frans Stadium. Guests that have received a COVID-19 vaccination are still required to wear a face covering over their mouth and nose. Fans may remove their masks when actively eating or drinking in their ticketed seat. Facial shields without an accompanying facial covering will not be permitted.
LP Frans Stadium will have a limited capacity this year to allow for physical distancing. Fans will be seated in pods of 2 and 4. Each pod will be at least 6 feet away from neighboring pods.
In order to minimize surface touch points between gameday employees and fans, and to prevent crowding at ingress, bags will not be allowed inside the stadium. Medical bags and manufactured diaper bags that accompany infants and young children will still be permitted.
Crawdads staff members will be diligent in cleaning during the games. Common touch points such as door handles, railings, and bathrooms will be sanitized frequently throughout your time at the park.
The Crawdads want to ensure you that your safety will be our top priority at LP Frans Stadium. All our staff will be temperature checked upon their arrival to the stadium and will be masked throughout the night.
Amusements: all our amusements (the bounce house, speed pitch, carousel, and prize wheel) will be open this year. After each use, each amusement will be sprayed with sanitizer. The bounce house and carousel will be operating with smaller capacities.
Stadium Modifications: plexiglass will be installed at all transaction points around the stadium. Markers will also be installed on the floor to indicate 6 feet distancing while in line at the concession stand. Sanitizing stations will be installed throughout the stadium.
Autographs: In accordance with Major League Baseball guidelines, all on-field personnel (i.e. players, coaches and staff) are prohibited from signing autographs or engaging in direct guest contact. Guests should NOT seek autographs inside LP Frans Stadium or in the parking lots before or after the games.
Buffer Zones: “Buffer Zones” will be created between the playing field and the first row of ticketed seats adjacent to both dugouts (12 feet in distance) and bullpens (6 feet in distance). Guests are not allowed within the designated “Buffer Zones” at any time.
Pods: Seating pods may not be split amongst parties that do not know each other. The reselling or forwarding of portions of a seat pod to multiple parties is strictly prohibited and the Hickory Crawdads reserve the right to rescind admission to any fan caught doing so.
Prohibited items: No outside food or beverage, bags, electronic noise makers, weapons, and any other items that in the judgment of Crawdads management pose a safety hazard or diminish the enjoyment of an event by other patrons
What is your seating capacity?
We don’t have a specific number as to how many fans will be allowed in when the season opens in May. We, along with Minor League teams across North Carolina, will be following guidance from the state and Major League Baseball as to how to seat fans and what the capacity will be.
Can I get my seats now?
Yes, single game tickets are on sale now! If you are thinking about going to a game, we encourage you to buy early as games will sell out quicker than ever with our limited capacity.
I have undated vouchers (ticket books) from 2021, can those still be used?
Yes, any vouchers from 2020 will be able to be used in 2021. A small upgrade will be required for the Christian Concert date and July 4th game.
How will seating work?
We are working on designing our new seating map but tickets will be sold in pods of 2 or 4 seats. Each pod will be at least 6 feet away from neighboring pods.
Are groups still allowed?
We will still have groups in our suites, party patios, the Servpro Picnic Pavilion and Black’s Tire Picnic Deck. If you are interested in booking a group or learning more about how we will keep our groups safe, please give us a call at (828) 322-3000 or email Robby at [email protected].
I booked a group for 2020, when can we reschedule?
Any groups that had booked for 2020 are able to reschedule to this season. Your group sales representative will be reaching out to the group leader to set up a new outing for you.
Will you still have theme nights?
Yes! We will still have the fun theme nights, giveaways, and specialty jerseys just like in a typical year. Our promotional schedule will be released at the end of March.
