Hillcats Release 2018 Game Schedule

LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Lynchburg Hillcats released their 2018 game schedule on Wednesday October 11. After a successful 2017 bid which saw the Hillcats become champions of the Carolina League, the Hillcats look to repeat as champions. The Hillcats will pick up right where 2017 left off. They will kick off their 52nd season in the Carolina League on Thursday, April 5th at home with a 7 game homestand against the 2017 Carolina League Southern Division Champion Down East Wood Ducks in a 4 game series.
In their 4th season as affiliate of the Cleveland Indians the Hillcats will host 70 games of the 140 game schedule including 11 Sparkling Saturday firework shows and 12 Thirsty Thursdays. The Hillcats will host 33 weekend games (Friday, Saturday,Sunday). The schedule is distributed evenly with both the first and second half consisting of 35 home games.

Season tickets and book ticket packages are on sale now. Individual game tickets, featuring $6 general admission, will go on sale soon. The Hillcats begin the 2018 season at home taking on the Down East Wood Ducks. Lynchburg will host the Wood Ducks Thursday, April 5. The Hillcats have made the playoffs a franchise-record six straight seasons.
