Postponed Games

We realize fans travel from all over to see the Hub City Spartanburgers. Unfortunately, we can't predict what the weather will do a few hours before game time. The Upstate is known for summer pop-up storms that come through quickly and leave humidity as a reminder. Our staff will monitor the weather to ensure we take every step necessary to play each game as it is scheduled. We do not offer refunds for games unattended.

The easiest way to get updates is to follow us on social media (@HubCitySpartanburgers on Instagram and Facebook and @Spartanburgers_ on X) or via our home radio broadcast on 98.3 FM WSPG Spartanburg. We will give updates when we have them. For example: Start Time Pushed Back, Game Postponed, In-Game Rain Delay, etc. If you do not see an update, we do not have any new updates.

In MiLB, once lineup cards (Plate meeting) are exchanged, the decision to move into a rain delay is at the umpire’s discretion. Fans in attendance are encouraged to direct their attention to the video board for updates during the game.

Please note that delays do not qualify for exchange or complimentary ticket options. Exchanges or complimentary tickets are only offered in the event a game is not played as an official game. Any accommodation beyond this are at the sole discretion of the team’s leadership.

Postponed Games – Single Game & Season Ticket Members

If the game is called before gates open, tickets will be eligible for a one-time exchange. The tickets will be good for equal or lesser value for the rest of the Hub City Spartanburgers regular season games. If the team has completed 5 innings or more and the game is called as a completed game tickets will not be eligible for an exchange. In the event the game is postponed for completion on the following day, tickets will be eligible for exchange into an equal or lesser value ticket. There will be no exchanges for a weather delay, only postponement.

If the game is called after the gates have opened, seats with Milliken Club access will still be able to enjoy the Milliken Club food. Fans exchanging their seats will be able to exchange into Home Plate or Infield Seats.

Postponed Games – Hospitality Spaces

If the game is called before gates open, we will work with the company to reschedule them to a mutually agreed upon date. If the buffet is served and the game is called during the game, and is a completed game, there will be no exchange.

Postponed Games – Suites

If the game is called before gates open, you will be contacted to discuss your suite catering. If the game is called after gates are open, you will be able to remain in your suite for a limited time to consume your food and beverage.

Postponed Games – Group Tickets

If the game is called before gates open, we will work with the company/group to reschedule them to a mutually agreed-upon date. Tickets will be good for equal or lesser value for the rest of the Hub City Spartanburgers' regular season games.

Postponed Games – Fireworks

If inclement weather stops the Hub City Spartanburgers from shooting off Fireworks, tickets will be eligible for a one-time exchange. The tickets will be good for equal or lesser value for the rest of the Hub City Spartanburgers' regular season games.
