In three World Baseball Classic games for his native Colombia, Jorge Alfaro batted .250. In five big league Spring Training games last month, he batted the same. In Triple-A, he's adding it all up.

The Phillies' third-ranked prospect notched three hits, including an RBI double, to lift his early-season average to .500 as Lehigh Valley blanked Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, 6-0, on Tuesday. He also scored a run.

Alfaro singled to left with one out in the sixth and reached on an infield single back to the mound in the eighth. The outing marked the backstop's third multi-hit game of the season and his second three-hit performance. The No. 69 overall prospect is 10-for-20 with a double, four RBIs and a 1.074 OPS through his first five games of the season.

Alfaro wasn't the IronPigs' only offensive standout in the win. Quinn tallied three hits, including an RBI double to left in the sixth inning. Lehigh Valley's center fielder scored three times and is batting .400 on the year.
