Help wanted: Cubbie Bear

We're looking for Cubbie Bear. Well, kind of. We're looking for someone to be Cubbie Bear. SPOILER ALERT: There is a human being inside the Cubbie Bear costume.

It's a great job. Everybody loves Cubbie. We're looking for an outgoing person who can fill Cubbie's shoes. And the rest of him. The idea Cubbie candidate will be someone who loves to have fun and loves to interact with fans of all ages. Candidates must be in good physical condition and be able to wear a mascot costume for long periods of time, sometimes in very warm temperatures.

Cubbie is at all 72 Iowa Cubs home games and other events throughout the year. Persons interested in this seasonal, part-time position should contact Chelsie Rohrs The pay is $40 per nine-inning game -- $60 for doubleheaders (two seven-inning games).
