Audition Information
Date: Saturday, March 7th, 2026.
Time: 10am - 12pm
Location: Principal Park. Please enter through Gate C and head to the field.
If you're interested in singing the National Anthem at an Iowa Cubs game this year, we invite you to attend our live audition session. We welcome individual vocalists, group vocalists, and instrumentalists to audition. All vocal auditions must be performed a cappella (without musical accompaniment), and all performances should be in the traditional tune of the Star Spangled Banner and not exceed 1 minute and 30 seconds.
To be considered, applicants must submit a completed application form. If you are attending the live audition please bring your application form to submit in person. If you're unable to attend the live audition, you can submit a video application. Video submissions should be recorded horizontally and sent via email to Amanda at [email protected]. Acceptable video formats include downloadable files or links from platforms such as YouTube, Google Drive, or Dropbox—please note that audio files, tapes, and CDs will not be accepted. The deadline for video submissions is Friday, March 6th, 2026.
If selected to perform at Principal Park, you will be contacted by an Iowa Cubs staff member via the email provided on your application.
