Job Summary:
Front Desk Attendant (Night & Weekend Games)
Overview:
The Front Desk Attendant serves as a primary point of contact for fans during Iowa Cubs home games, delivering friendly, professional, and solution-oriented customer service both in person at the ballpark and over the phone. This game-day role works primarily nights and weekends and plays a critical role in representing the Iowa Cubs brand, ensuring fans have a positive and memorable experience from arrival through the final out.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, thrive in fast-paced environments, and take pride in providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to fans throughout Iowa Cubs home games, both in person at the front desk and via phone inquiries
- Respond promptly, accurately, and professionally to fan questions, concerns, and requests
- Communicate Iowa Cubs policies related to tickets, pricing, rain procedures, promotions, and ballpark operations (training provided)
- Answer incoming phone calls, route calls appropriately, and relay messages to front office staff as needed
- Assist fans by directing them to the appropriate departments or staff members for additional support
- Take initiative to help resolve minor issues and escalate concerns when necessary to ensure fan satisfaction
- Maintain a calm, positive, and professional demeanor during high-volume or high-pressure situations
Schedule Expectations:
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays during Iowa Cubs home games is required
This is a game-day, part-time position aligned with the Iowa Cubs home schedule
Good judgment and evaluation skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Successful completion of American Red Cross first aid and CPR courses or equivalent training with another organization required. Must present up to date certifications.
- EMS/EMT, or Nursing experience preferred; students encouraged to apply.
