I-Cubs and Sky Sox Rained Out for the Third-Straight Night

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Saturday night's doubleheader between the Iowa Cubs and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed due to inclement weather for the third-consecutive night. COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Saturday night's doubleheader between the Iowa Cubs and the Colorado Springs Sky Sox has been postponed due to inclement weather for the third-consecutive night. The two teams are slated to play a doubleheader tomorrow at Security Service Field beginning at 11:30 a.m. CT. Both games will run seven innings with game two following 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one.

One postponed contest will be moved to Des Moines, to be played on a day to be determined during the two team's series August 15-18, while the other game has been canceled and will not be made up.
