The Iowa Cubs will hold an Open House for fans on Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Principal Park.
Fans will be able to tour the stadium -- from the clubhouse area to the skybox suites and most everything in between. Fans will get their first look at the new high-definition ribbon board above the left field skyboxes. Weather permitting, fans will be allowed on the outfield playing surface. The playground and inflatable games will also be available to kids.
The Iowa Cubs team store will have sale items and the first look at new merchandise for 2017, including a variety of Chicago Cubs World Series items.
Fans who attend will be treated to free hot dogs and soft drinks. Those who register to win a free skybox rental will also receive a pair of general admission tickets to a game in April.
Iowa returns to Principal Park for the 2017 home opener Tuesday, April 11, as the Cubs begin a four-game series against the New Orleans Baby Cakes. First pitch is set for 6:38 p.m. with fireworks after the game. The first 2,500 fans on Opening Night will receive a Fly The W T-shirt, sponsored by Principal.
