Iowa Cubs Release Promotional Schedule

DES MOINES - The Iowa Cubs 50th season is just around the corner and with it comes an exciting lineup of promotions. This year's fun includes timeless fan favorites, unique giveaways and much more!
On May 19, our 50th season celebration commences with throwback ticket and concession pricing and a G&L Clothing Bandana Giveaway. Fitting the theme, the team will wear replica Iowa Oaks uniforms.
Headlining the giveaway roster is a
Firework Fridays, Saturday Pregame Catch on the Field and Sunday Kids Run the Bases will continue to be Principal Park staples throughout the season. Firework shows are added on July 2 and 3 to celebrate Independence Day. Pedal to the Park, presented by Bike World, is returning for Sunday home games, offering special ticket pricing for cyclists.
Back by popular demand, pups will take over Principal Park on May 17 and Aug. 6 for Dog Days. Dogs, accompanied by a human, will be able to strut their stuff on the warning track during the pregame Dog Parade.
Five Kids Nights dot the schedule (May 1, June 5, Aug. 1, 15, 28) with themes to include Blank Park Zoo Night and Mascot Night. Kids get in free for each of these games, with parents getting $5 general admission seating.
