Iowa Cubs Internships for 2011 Season
IOWA CUBS INTERNSHIPS
The Iowa Cubs have internships available in several departments for the 2011 baseball season. Applicants should have a strong interest in gaining experience in the sports industry, be highly motivated and hard working, and have a willingness to learn and the willingness to work long hours and weekends during the summer months.
Internships are available in concessions and retail. Interested applicants should send a resume and cover letter to the appropriate contact.
Assist with all aspects of the food and beverage operation of Principal Park including ordering, inventory, stocking, sales reports, monitoring sales percentages and per caps, catering, and vendor/game day staff relations. Responsible for providing service and upkeep for the skybox rentals and restaurant. Contact John Gordon
Assist store manager in restocking the store, setting up the kiosk for games, and merchandise sales. Oversee the part time staff and assist with closing and balancing the sales drawers. Merchandising the store, conducting inventory, and providing input on new merchandise. Contact Holly Edwards
