‘Pigs Blanked by Bisons to Snap Five-Game Winning Streak

Buffalo, New York (August 21, 2026) – The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (25-23, 60-63) five-game winning streak came to a close in a 5-0 loss to the Buffalo Bisons (26-23, 61-63) on Friday night at Sahlen Field.
Sean Keys swatted a three-run homer in the third before adding a two-run shot in the fifth to stake Buffalo to a 5-0 lead.
Three more came across in the sixth thanks to a Jay Harry RBI single and a two-run single for Yohendrick Piñango, making it 8-0.
Richard Gallardo (W, 1-3) was the beneficiary of the run support for the Bisons, earning the win with 5.2 scoreless innings.
Brian Keller (L, 1-4) took the loss for the ‘Pigs, allowing five runs in 4.1 innings of work.
The IronPigs and Bisons continue their series on Saturday, August 22nd with first pitch slated for 6:35 p.m. The ‘Pigs starter is Alan Rangel while CJ Van Eyk goes for Buffalo.
