PITCHING MATCHUP


Drew Anderson starts for the Pigs against Chris Rowley for the Bisons. Today's starting pitching matchup is presented by Allentown Family Foot Care, which provides the latest in medical and surgical treatments of the entire foot and ankle. Learn more at affc.com.
Anderson is 3-2 this season in his seven starts since being activated from the DL in mid-May. In his previous start against the Bisons this season, he was tagged for six runs in just 2 2/3 innings on June 11. The Pigs have faced Chris Rowley twice this season in Allentown. The West Point grad is 1-0 against the Pigs and worked into the seventh last time out, allowing just two runs.


LAST GAME


Cole Irvin (8-3) went seven innings for the Pigs allowing three runs on eight hits while striking out three as the Pigs fell 3-1 Thursday in Moosic. Collin Cowgill's first-inning solo home run was the extent of the offense for the Pigs, who stranded 11 runners. Click here for a full recap.


HEAD-TO-HEAD


The Pigs are 5-2 against Buffalo this season with all seven games being played at Coca-Cola Park. This trip to Buffalo is one of two the Pigs will make in 2018
In addition to the seven games that the Bisons and IronPigs have already played they will meet 11 more times this season. After this series each team will make one more trip to the opponents home ball park in 2018.


NEXT WEEK AT COCA-COLA PARK
