First Half Finale Canceled

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - A Father's Day downpour Sunday afternoon rained out the Loons scheduled series finale against the Bowling Green Hot Rods at Bowling Green Ballpark.
 
Postponed games in the Midwest League must be made up in the same half of the season in which they are originally scheduled. With no games remaining in the first half, the game will not be made up, and is officially canceled. The Loons finish the first half with a winning record (36-33) for the first time since 2015. 
The Loons return home for the all-star break. Dow Diamond hosts the 2017 Midwest League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:05 p.m. EDT. Gates open for Tuesday's events at 4:00 p.m. with live entertainment in The Cove located down the third base line inside Dow Diamond. The Midwest League Home Run Derby will take place on Monday, June 19 at 7:05 p.m. Monday's events kick-off at 3:00 p.m. with a tailgate on the front lawn of Dow Diamond featuring food trucks, a beer tent, lawn games, and bounce houses. After the Home Run Derby, a live performance from Nashville's Chris Weaver Band will take place on the front lawn as well.
