Kicking off a double-header in Brooklyn (20-48) the Spinners (31-36) came in hoping gain some momentum with little room to breathe in the playoff race. Unfortunately the Spinners would not get the result they were hoping for.

Michael Osinski led the game off with a double. Garrett Benge later drove in Osinski on a groundout to give Lowell a 1-0 lead. Raiwinson Lameda and Yoan Aybar kept the inning going with a pair of singles before Nick Hamilton singled home Lameda.

Angel Padron got the start for Lowell and was solid in five innings of work. With five strikeouts, we allowed three runs (two earned), six hits, and a walk.

Rio Gomez threw an innning of relief, striking out one and walking a batter.

After dropping the first game of the double-header, the Spinners roll out Durin O'Linger for the night cap. The Spinners now must win every gam efor the remainder of the season to make the playoffs.
