Chelmsford Night w/the Spinners Aug. 7

Town of Chelmsford Celebrated All Game
August 7, 2009
LOWELL, MASS - In a five part series celebrating the towns surrounding Lowell, Chelmsford Night will be held at LeLacheur Park this Friday, August 7. The Spinners will host the Batavia Muckdogs at 7:05 PM. Gates open at 5:30 PM.

The community night will feature several promotions specifically tailored to the town of Chelmsford. The first pitched will be hurled by Paul Cohen, Town Manager. The Chelmsford Fitts 12 year old Little League squad will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony for their astounding season. The team garnered their best ever finish in the State Championship and captured the District 2 Championship earlier this summer. A pair of captains from the Chelmsford High School Swimming and Diving team will also be on hand.

Additionally, Mark Eshbaugh, an illustrious painter, photographer and gifted musical talent hailing from the Chelmsford region, will be displaying his artwork on the concourse.

Finally, a police cruiser from the Chelmsford Police Department will be located outside the main gate from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Kids are welcome to explore the car and turn on the lights and siren.

In conjunction with Chelmsford Night, the first 1,500 fans will receive a yard sign. The giveaway is sponsored by Pepsi and SuperCoups.
