Night Games

Dodgers 10, White Sox 4 Box »

When Yasiel Puig arrived stateside and dominated the lower Minor Leagues in a 23-game stint last summer, it wasn't a huge surprise. With his performance this spring, though, the 22-year-old Cuban defector is generating plenty more buzz. Puig went 3-for-3 at the plate Saturday night as the Dodgers rolled over the White Sox, 10-4. The team's top prospect has hits in seven straight games, during which time he's batting .789, and overall he's hitting .547 in 24 spring games. Puig laced a double to left-center field as a pinch-hitter to spark a three-run rally in the fifth inning. In the seventh, Puig led off the inning with a broken bat single, and later added a groundball single to left as the Dodgers blew the game open with a six-run inning.
