Domingo Ayala Brings His Talents to Eugene

June 17, 2011

EUGENE,OR-The Emeralds season opener is tonight and everyone is talking about the fresh talent that has arrived in Eugene for the summer.

There are a handful of gifted players on the team but one player has already separated himself from the pack. This talented individual is Domingo Ayala. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, Domingo is no semi-pro. He is coming off an incredible Youtube season where he has shown off his talents to over 1 million people, teaching them how to hit home runs, play catch for a scout, and execute the double steal.

Tonight he will be bringing his "God-given talent" to the Emeralds. He will be throwing out the first pitch, playing all nine positions, and taking on the Boise Hawks by himself. He is nationally known to put the team on his back with a career stat line that reads 857 Homers, 5,432 RBI, and 1500 stolen bases. The past part is, he is only 17 years of age.

Be sure to come out tonight to support the Emeralds and get a glimpse at the next Babe Ruth. Game starts at 7 pm with a firework show following the game.
