Garrett M. Brockway Baseball Clinic set for Saturday, April 26th

Free Pitch, Hit & Run Competition presented by Scotts will follow completion of clinic

Burlington, IA (March 22, 2014) - The Burlington Bees have announced that the Garrett M. Brockway Baseball Clinic will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Community Field in Burlington. Children who are ages 7-14 are welcomed to attend and will be instructed by Bees players and coaches. The clinic will start promptly at 9:30 AM and end at 11:30 AM. Cost per child is $25. After the clinic, Community Field will play host to the Pitch, Hit & Run competition presented by Scotts. The Pitch, Hit & Run competition will be FREE to everyone. Also, you do not have to participate in the Garrett M. Brockway Baseball Clinic to participate in the Pitch, Hit & Run competition, but it is strongly encouraged to do so. Anyone who is interested in participating in the Pitch, Hit & Run clinic may sign up at the competition or may do so by visiting the Burlington Bees front office at Community Field. Boys and Girls may participate and will be split up by gender and into age brackets. Local winners will move to the sectional competition.

Also, on June 21st, the Burlington Bees and Community Field will be hosting "Donate Life Night", to increase awareness about the importance of organ donation. More details to come at a later date.
