Pat Gillick crowned King of Baseball
Gillick has been in professional baseball for 51 years. He played Minor League Baseball for several years before beginning his distinguished front office career. Gillick has received numerous awards while working for six different Major League organizations. He is known throughout the game for his commitment to scouting, player development and Minor League Baseball.
Toronto, Baltimore, Seattle and Philadelphia all reached the playoffs with Gillick as general manager. He was also the architect behind Toronto's back-to-back World Series championships in 1992 and 1993.
