IronBirds Cancelled Due to Rain

Aberdeen, MD - The Aberdeen IronBirds game against State College Spikes at Ripken Stadium on Sunday afternoon was cancelled due to rain.

The game originally scheduled for 2:35 had a two hour and 10 minute rain delay before being cancelled.  It was the final meeting of the season between the IronBirds and Spikes and will not be made up.

All New York Penn League teams will have two days off for the All Star break.  The IronBirds will be back in action on Wednesday August 18 against the Hudson Valley Renegades.  Bruno Sanchez will take the hill for the IronBirds against Zach Rosscup.
