Jedd Gyorko Takes Home Top Star Honors

Former Ems player, Jedd Gyorko, went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI as California League beat the Carolina League 6-1 during the June 21st California/ Carolina League All-Star Game.

While playing for the during the 2010 season, he played in 26 games before moving on to Ft. Wayne. Gyorko hit 5 homeruns and recorded 18 RBI's with the Emeralds. His batting average was .330. Through 77 games of the 2011 season, Gyorko has recored 73 RBI's and is currently batting .373.

Jedd also took home Top Star honors for the California League.
