Lookouts Win Second Half!

With Tennessee's 5-1 loss to Birmingham this afternoon, the Lookouts have officially won the second-half title in the North Division of the Southern League. As such, the Lookouts are scheduled to play their first home playoff game at AT&T Field against the Tennessee Smokies (North Division first-half winners) on Saturday, September 10th. Tickets are currently on sale. Games four and five, if necessary, will also be played at AT&T Field in the best-of-five series against the Smokies. The series is scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 8th at Smokies Park.

The Lookouts last appearance in the Southern League Playoffs was in 2006, where they were eliminated in the first round by the Huntsville Stars. Chattanooga last won a Southern League Championship in 1988.

The Birmingham Barons and Mobile BayBears will face each other in the Southern League South Division Playoffs. The winners of each Divisional Series will play each other in the Southern League Championship Series, which will also have a best-of-five format.
