Marisnick gives Suns a walk-off win

Marlins No. 2 prospect slugs game-ending homer in ninth

Jake Marisnick slugged a two-run homer with one out in the bottom of the ninth inning on Tuesday night to give Jacksonville a 6-5 victory over Pensacola.

The Marlins' No. 2 prospect also doubled and walked and is batting .285 with 10 homers and 39 RBIs in 52 games for the Suns.

Ryan Fisher also went yard and drove in three runs, while Daniel Pertusati scored twice for Jacksonville. Collin Cargill earned his second win with two innings of hitless relief.

Devin Lohman opened the game with a homer for the Blue Wahoos.

Joc Pederson hit his 14th homer of the season to power Chattanooga to a 5-1 triumph over Huntsville.

Pederson, the Dodgers' No. 3 prospect, finished with two hits to raise his average to .302 and Jon Garcia was 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Duke von Schamann improved to 2-0 after giving up a run on five hits over six innings for the Lookouts.

Shea Vucinich drove in the Stars' only run with a fifth-inning single.

Angel Villalona slugged a three-run homer, his first at Double-A, in Richmond's 7-5 loss to Reading.

Edgar Duran plated three runs and Phillies No. 10 prospect Maikel Franco scored twice for the Fightin Phils. Jay Johnson gave up two hits in one inning to earn his first win and Mike Nesseth tossed a perfect ninth for his second save.

Adam Duvall doubled and drove in two runs for the Flying Squirrels.

Carlos Moncrief homered and drove in four runs, falling a triple shy of the cycle, but Akron was beaten by Bowie, 10-6.

Trayvon Robinson smacked a three-run double and Kyle Hudson reached base four times and scored twice for the Baysox. Niuman Romero slugged a solo shot, his second of the season.

Indians No. 4 prospect Ronny Rodriguez went 3-for-5 with two runs scored for the Aeros.
