MiLB's PBUC adds two to staff

Sinclair, Bradley working as area evaluators, instructors

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Former Triple-A® umpires Brian Sinclair and Jason Bradley have joined the staff of The Professional Baseball Umpire Corp. (PBUC™) as Area Evaluators/Instructors on a part-time basis. They will observe, instruct and evaluate Minor League Baseball™ umpires in the Arizona and Gulf Coast Rookie Leagues, along with assisting throughout the 14 other domestic-based leagues.

"The additions of Brian and Jason to our staff further reinforce the goals of the PBUC program," said Justin Klemm, Executive Director PBUC. "Their résumés boast tremendous experience at all levels of baseball, including their current time with several NCAA Division I conferences. Our umpires and the program will benefit from their expertise, as we progress in developing umpires and setting new standards of training within the game."

A native of Lakewood, Colo., Sinclair worked nine years in Minor League Baseball™ with stops in the Pacific Coast, Texas, Florida State, South Atlantic, Northwest, and Arizona Leagues. He also worked in the Venezuelan Winter League, Arizona and Florida Instructional, and Major League Baseball Spring Training. 

Outside of professional baseball, Brian works NCAA Division I baseball and officiates high school basketball and soccer. Brian currently resides in San Antonio, Texas, with his wife Stephanie, and daughter, Sophia.

A native of Blackshear, Ga., Bradley umpired from 2002-2010 in the Gulf Coast, New York-Penn, South Atlantic, Florida State, Southern, International and Dominican Winter Leagues. His work also earned him the opportunity to umpire in the 2007 MLB All-Star Futures Game at San Francisco's AT&T Park. Jason currently umpires in several NCAA Division I conferences. 

The Georgia resident holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Middle Grades Education from Albany State University.
