Those numbers are a sharp contrast to the slow starts he had each of the last two seasons. In 2015 while with Class A Clinton, Jackson batted .135 with no homers, nine RBIs and 23 strikeouts in 19 games in April.
Last season, he didn't debut with the Lumber Kings until May and batted .105 with three homers, six RBIs and 15 strikeouts in 11 games.
