International League
Andy Marte, Columbus

Andy Marte's batting average rose to .307, one of the strongest averages in the league, after a successful week at the plate. The Indians prospect recorded a hit in every game this week and had three multiple-hit games. Marte went 3-for-4 in back-to-back games in the middle of the week walking once, scoring a run and hitting a double in each of the games.

Pacific Coast League
Kevin Howard, Las Vegas

Blue Jays prospect Kevin Howard had multiple-hit games on four occasions this week. The Miami native's strongest performance came on June 23 when he recorded his first multiple-homer game of the season. Howard went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, a double, three RBIs and a pair of home runs. The third baseman is currently enjoying an 11-game hitting streak.

Eastern League
Nick Weglarz, Akron

Outfielder Nick Weglarz reached base in all six games this week. The Indians prospect homered in three consecutive games from June 23-25. On Tuesday he went 2-for-4 with a run, a double and four RBIs. The following day he went 4-for-5 with two runs and three RBI. On Thursday he went 1-for-1 with a run, RBI and four walks. He ranks second in the league with 55 RBIs.

Southern League
Bryan Petersen, Jacksonville

After struggling in the first game of the week, Marlins prospect Bryan Petersen came back to record five consecutive multiple-hit games. By the end of the week the left fielder's batting average had jumped up more than 20 points. Petersen led the league this week with a .567 on-base percentage, .480 batting average and 12 hits.

Texas League
Jeff Bianchi, Northwest Arkansas

Jeff Bianchi went a perfect 5-for-5 with a run scored and three RBIs on June 27, finishing a triple shy of the cycle. The Royals prospect has been on a tear since being promoted to the Naturals two weeks ago. He had five multiple-hit games this week to raise his Double-A batting average to .556. His average between the two teams he's played for this season is .336.

California League
Roger Kieschnick, San Jose

Giants prospect Roger Kieschnick picked up his second consecutive Player of the Week award after another dominating performance for San Jose. had his first multi-homer game of the season on June 27. He went 3-for-4 with a walk scoring two runs himself while knocking in a season-high six on two home runs and an RBI double to lead his team to a 7-1 win over the Stockton Ports. On June 26, Kieschnick went a perfect 3-for-3 with a walk and scored two runs. The outfielder extended his hitting streak to 13 games this week.

Carolina League
Dale Mollenhauer, Winston-Salem

White Sox prospect Dale Mollenhauer went 2-for-5 twice this week on June 27 and 28, collecting seven RBIs between the two games. Mollenhauer is among the team leaders in many offensive categories, including runs, hits, doubles, triples, walks and stolen bases.

Florida State League
Chris Parmelee, Fort Myers

The Twins' 2006 first-round pick, Chris Parmelee, was perfect at the plate twice this week on June 24 and 27. On Wednesday he went 3-for-3 with a walk, a run and an RBI. Saturday, Parmelee went 1-for-1 with an RBI. The right fielder has collected an RBI in five consecutive contests and has 42 RBIs on the season.

Midwest League
Blake Tekotte, Fort Wayne

Currently on a 10-game hitting streak, Padres prospect Blake Tekotte put together another week of impressive plate appearances. The center fielder homered in consecutive games on June 25 and 26, amassing six RBIs in those two contests. He also recorded three multiple-hit games this week.

South Atlantic League
Melky Mesa, Charleston

Yankees prospect Melky Mesa recorded at least two hits in every game this week including a triad of three-hit games. Mesa had his third two-homer game in the Riverdogs' June 25 game in which he went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Mesa leads the league in homers (16) and extra-base hits (37). The outfielder improved his batting average to .270 on the season.

Appalachian League
Adam Milligan, Danville

Braves prospect Adam Milligan has started off the season strong with five multiple-hit games this week. On June 25 the outfielder went 3-for-5 with a homer, two runs scored and five RBIs. Milligan currently leads left-handed Appalachian League hitters in batting average (.464), RBIs (9), hits (13), doubles (5), slugging percentage (.857), extra-base hits (7) and runs scored (8).
Riaan Spanjer-Furstenburg, Danville

Riaan Spanjer-Furstenburg, who's started the season with a five-game hitting streak, joins his teammate as an Appalachian League Player of the Week. The first baseman had four multiple-hit games this week including a 4-for-5 appearance on June 26 in which he scored two runs and hit a double. Spanjer-Furstenburg's .579 average currently paces the circuit. He ranks second in on-base percentage (.609) and slugging percentage (1.000).

New York-Penn League
Matt Bouchard, Brooklyn

Mets prospect Matt Bouchard recorded a hit in every game this week. On June 24 the second baseman went 4-for-5 with three doubles, two runs scored, and an RBI. Bouchard, the Mets' 2007 11th-round selection out of Georgetown University, leads the league in hits, doubles, extra-base hits and runs scored.

Northwest League
Scott Beerer, Tri-City

Scott Beerer kicked off his career comeback in style, with a Player of the Week nod. Beerer was originally drafted in the second round of the 2003 Draft ... as a pitcher. Now 27 years old, he's trying to make a comeback with the bat in the Rockies organization. With his red-hot start to the season, transformed outfielder leads the league in batting average, RBIs, hits, doubles, on-base percentage (.621), slugging percentage (.852), and extra-base hits.

Pioneer League
Deivy Batista, Idaho Falls

Deivy Batista has recorded a hit in every game he's appeared in this season. The shortstop hit homers in back-to-back games on June 27 and 28. On June 28 the Royals prospect went 3-for-5 with a three runs, two RBI and two stolen bases. He paces the circuit in slugging percentage and triples.
