PawSox win series finale and go .500 on road trip

The PawSox scored a pair of runs in the seventh inning without the benefit of a base hit to top Indianapolis, 4-2.

Jason Davis walked Sean Danielson, Chris Carter reached on a throwing error by Steve Pearce and Dusty Brown walked. Paul McAnulty reached on a fielders' choice to drive in a run and Chip Ambres had a sacrifice fly to center to cap the scoring. The first 2 runs scored as Freddy Guzman singled home Travis Denker in the second and Dusty Brown's grounder scored Guzman in the fifth.

Billy Traber fired 2 and a third brilliant innings of relief to earn the win. Traber (3-3) gave up a hit and fanned 2. Fernando Cabrera picked up his tenth save with a scoreless ninth.

The PawSox split the series and the 8 game road trip. The club returns home for a series against Louisville. Game 1 is Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m. Homer Bailey (4-5, 4.38) faces Michael Bowden (2-2, 1.68).
