Sky Sox Announce Additional Independence Week Fireworks Show On Thursday, July 2nd

The Colorado Springs Sky Sox are excited to announce today that due to the overwhelming response by fans for Independence Fireworks and Sky Sox baseball on July 3rd, the team will be adding an additional fireworks celebration on Thursday, July 2nd. The Friday, July 3rd game between the Sky Sox and the Salt Lake Bees is almost completely sold out and in order to provide all the fans of the Front Range region with a special Independence celebration and fireworks show with the Sky Sox, the team is adding another fantastic fireworks spectacular to the schedule.

Thursday, July 2nd will not only feature the new pyrotechnic extravaganza and exciting baseball action but it will also include the Sky Sox regularly scheduled Thursday Night Live lineup. This includes a special pre-game concert performance by the rock band Creating A Newsense starting at 6:00 PM along with Happy Hour drink specials on Coors and Coors Light drafts from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. Fans can also sign up for the Sky Sox brand new Mug Club and receive all the benefits that come with membership including a special Mug Club mug and t-shirt as well as extended Happy Hour specials for all Thursday games.
