Pelicans and Dash washed out for third-straight day

Both games have been cancelled and will not be made up

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (June 9, 2019) - Due to wet grounds from heavy rainfall over the last several days, the Myrtle Beach Pelicans' doubleheader with the Winston-Salem Dash on Sunday, June 8, has been cancelled. Both games will not be made up.

After losing three-straight games due to rain, the Pelicans continue their road trip on Monday when they open a three-game set with the Fayetteville Woodpeckers

Luis Lugo  (1-3, 3.25) has been named the probable starter for the Pelicans in game one of the series against Fayetteville, while the Woodpeckers have yet to name a starter.

Coverage will begin at 6:45 p.m. on the Pelicans Baseball Network which is available on the TuneIn App, and MiLB First Pitch app.
