Manchester, N.H. - Individual game tickets for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats' 15th season will go on sale this Thursday, and a fan favorite -- Star Wars Night -- has been added to the schedule.
Back by popular demand from a galaxy far, far away, Star Wars Night returns on Saturday, July 21.
This year's event promises to be unlike any other: The Human Cannonball, David "The Bullet" Smith, will headline the night and blast off into hyperspace as part of the action.
The Fisher Cats will wear custom Han Solo jerseys to celebrate the release of "Solo: A Star Wars Story," and the game-worn uniforms will be auctioned off during the game to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
As always, the intergalactic festivities will feature the beloved characters, music, games and highlights of the iconic movie series, with a Star Wars Themed Atlas Fireworks Show presented by Bellwether Community Credit Union.
Star Wars Night is just one of dozens of theme nights the Fisher Cats will host during the 2018 season at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, including:
Nickelodeon Night featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - May 26
NH Poutine Fest and Franco-American Heritage Night - June 23
The Biggest Atlas Fireworks Show in Fisher Cats History - July 4
Margaritaville Night - July 7
"What Could Have Been" Day: Granite State Mountain Men Jerseys - July 8
The Wizarding World of NH Night, with a Wizard Fungo Bobblehead - July 20
Fans can enjoy several brand new promotions throughout the season, including Tallboy Tuesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, and themed Atlas Fireworks shows every Saturday night. Popular events like Scout Night, Faith and Family Night, Kids Run the Bases, and many more will return in 2018.
Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. on Thursday, February 15. Fans can purchase tickets over the phone at (603) 641-2005, online at nhfishercats.com/tickets or at the Fisher Cats box office at One Line Drive in Manchester.
The Fisher Cats home opener is on Friday, April 13 against the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium. The first 2,500 fans will receive a free magnet schedule, courtesy of EnergyNorth Propane. A Beatles-themed Atlas Fireworks show will follow the game.
