Manchester, NH - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays Double-A affiliate) split a doubleheader with the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (Mets Double-A affiliate) on Friday night at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, highlighted by a Max Pentecost walk-off single in Game 1.
Game 1: 3-2 Fisher Cats (F/8)
 Max Pentecost drilled an RBI single in the bottom of the eighth inning to give the Fisher Cats a walk-off 3-2 win over Binghamton in the opening game of a twi-night doubleheader on Friday at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
In the eighth inning of the first game, Cavan Biggio, who had walked, advanced to third on a double by Harold Ramirez ahead of the single by Max Pentecost. Kirby Snead (W, 1-0) worked two scoreless innings in relief of starter Sean Reid-Foley to pick up his first Double-A win. Corey Taylor took the loss for the Rumble Ponies. Each team scored a run in the first inning of the opener. Levi Michael was hit by a pitch, stole second, and scored on a single by Jeff McNeil. The Fisher Cats tied the game in the bottom of the first.
Jonathan Davis singled and would eventually score the tying run on a wild pitch. New Hampshire went in front in the bottom of the fifth when Vladimir Guerrero Jr. delivered a two-out single, but Binghamton drew back even when Jeff McNeil homered in the top of the sixth. Both starters, Reid-Foley and Binghamton's Marcos Molina, allowed two runs in six innings.
Game 2: 6-3 Rumble Ponies
Rumble Ponies In the nightcap, the Rumble Ponies took a 2-0 lead in the fourth on RBI singles by John Mora and Matt Oberste. Harold Ramirez ripped a three-run double in the bottom of the fifth inning to give New Hampshire a 3-2 lead. Binghamton reclaimed the lead in the sixth on an RBI single by Oberste and a three-run homer by Nick Sergakis off reliever Zach Jackson. Starter Scott Copeland worked five innings to earn the win for Binghamton. T. J. Zeuch took the loss.
