New Hampshire (24-23) gave up eight runs combined in the seventh and eighth innings to give Reading (19-28) its first win of the series.

After launching a team-record 11 home runs in the month of May, Orelvis Martinez hit his first homer of June and his 15th of the season with a solo homer in the seventh. It was one of Martinez’s three hits on the night and his first three-hit game this year. He was a triple shy of the cycle.

Rainer Nunez collected a pair of hits and two RBIs with a two-run single in the fifth. The Blue Jays No. 26 prospect has five RBIs in his first two Double-A games.

In his first game back since Saturday at Portland, Sebastian Espino hit a three-run home run in the second inning, his second homer of the season. Both of Espino’s home runs have been hit to right-field.

On the mound, Chad Dallas got the start and threw 4.1 innings, allowing two hits, five runs and six walks while striking out two in a no-decision.

Right-handed reliever Gabriel Ponce (2-2) took the loss after allowing three runs and four hits in 2.1 innings of work.
