The Fisher Cats Reading Challenge (presented by Eversource) encourages students to read five (5) books outside of the normal curriculum during the school year. The students who complete the challenge will earn two (2) tickets to a 2026 New Hampshire Fisher Cats game at Delta Dental Stadium at a special “Reading Challenge” celebration!

Cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded by the Fisher Cats and the Fisher Cats Foundation to the top 5 schools with the highest percentage of students who complete the challenge!

What is the Reading Challenge and how do I participate?

The Fisher Cats Reading Challenge, presented by Eversource, is a challenge designed for school age children to promote how fun reading can be! When students read 5 books, they receive 2 tickets to a 2025 Fisher Cats Reading Challenge game, courtesy of Eversource. The schools with the most participation will be entered to win a cash prize for their school! Students can enter with their school via their teachers/administrators/or reading specialists. If you’re not sure if your child’s school is registered, please contact the Fisher Cats at [email protected].

How do I receive my tickets?

To receive your tickets for Reading Challenge games, please submit your bookmark to your teacher to send it to the Fisher Cats. From there, one of our box office representatives will email the tickets of your selected Reading Challenge game to the parents. If you are participating as a homeschool or individual student, feel free to mail them in:
