ERIE, PA - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) swept a doubleheader with the Erie SeaWolves (Tigers) Tuesday night at UPMC Park to improve to a league-best 42-28 after 70 games

GAME 1: NH 5 - ERI 3/8 innings
The 'Cats struck first in game one. Max Pentecost reached with a one out single then Gunnar Heidt plated him with an RBI double to put New Hampshire up 1-0.
A two-run fifth made it 3-0. With the bases loaded and one out, Jon Berti singled to left and cashed in a pair of runs.
Erie tied it with three in the bottom of the sixth, but the Fisher Cats went on to loads the bases in the eighth for Cavan Biggio, whose single to center brought home two to give the Blue Jays affiliate a 5-3 advantage. Dusty Isaacs slammed the door in the bottom of the inning to secure the win and earn his first save of the year.
Berti's two-RBI knock was part of a three-hit performance for the Troy, Michigan native. Heidt also logged two hits in the win.
GAME 2: NH 5 - ERI 4/10 innings
Despite being limited to just three hits in ten innings, the 'Cats stole game two thanks in part to a first inning run and a sixth inning homer that eliminated a one-run deficit.
Trailing 2-1 in the sixth stanza, Andrew Guilotte led off the inning with a moon shot that landed on top of the Erie Insurance Arena in left field to tie it at two. The homer was his first of the season.
T.J. Zeuch turned in yet another quality start. The 21st overall pick in the 2016 draft and the reigning Eastern League Pitcher of the Week went seven strong and allowed two unearned runs on seven hits. He didn't walk a batter and struck out seven, but didn't factor in to the decision.
Tied 2-2 after seven, both teams scored single runs in the eighth and ninth to set up a 4-4 tie in the tenth. A groundout moved the extra innings "bonus runner" to third then Heidt plated the eventual winning run with a sacrifice fly.
Kirby Snead (S, 1) worked around a lead-off walk in the bottom of the tenth to preserve the lead and secure a 5-4 triumph.
The series and the road trip conclude tomorrow afternoon at UPMC Park. First pitch is set for 12:05 p.m. and can be heard on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network.
