July 27, 2015

MANCHESTER, NH- The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, welcomed the four millionth fan in franchise history tonight when John, Jocelyn and Owen Webber of Bow and Kelly and Patrick Owen from Concord entered Northeast Delta Dental Stadium as the Fisher Cats took on the Harrisburg Senators. The Owen and the Webber families were presented with an extravagant Fisher Cats prize pack, which included four season tickets to the 2016 season. It was an extra special night for Owen Webber as he received the prize pack on his ninth birthday.

"We congratulate the Owen and Webber families for being the four millionth fans to enjoy Fisher Cats baseball," said Fisher Cats President and General Manager, Rick Brenner. "We are so grateful for their families and the millions of others who have provided us with such great support at each and every game. Moments like this one tonight energize and excite us to entertain the next million fans."

Monday's attendance of 4,645 pushed the Fisher Cats season total to 244,148, breaking the four million barrier in the process. After being recognized as the four millionth fans, the two families threw out a ceremonial first pitch and enjoyed the game in a Fisher Cats luxury suite.

The prize pack included:

  • Four season tickets for the 2016 Fisher Cats season
  • 3-day, 2-night stay at Steele Hill Resorts
  • A team autographed Fisher Cats jersey
  • $100 gift certificate to T-Bones/ Cactus Jack's
  • 4 passes to Canobie Lake Park
  • $50 gift certificate to Van Otis Chocolates
  • $40 gift card to Hannaford Supermarket

  • Four golf passes to Stonebridge Country Club
  • Four mini-golf passes to Chuckster's
  • Four $10 gift certificates to Sanel Auto Parts
  • Four propane fill-ups at Energy North Propane

The Fisher Cats reached the four million milestone less than three years after crossing three million in August of 2012. On August 16 that season, Brian Hutcheons of Milford, N.H., took home a prize pack as the three millionth fan. Three years prior, 10-year-old Brendan Howard of Fremont, N.H. was recognized as the two millionth fan in franchise history. The one-million mark was reached during the 2007 season.

The Fisher Cats are home through Sunday with four Atlas Fireworks shows, two kids giveaways, Splash Day, WMUR Play Ball for CHaD Night, and Firefighter Appreciation with a firefighter jersey auction. For tickets and this week's promotions, visit www.nhfishercats.com.
