BOWIE, MD - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) were victimized by a two-out, two-run walk-off home run from Yusniel Díaz as the Bowie Baysox (Orioles) triumphed 4-2 in ten innings Wednesday at Prince George's Stadium.

Diaz's blast came with the game tied 2-2 and the placed runner at third base after a sacrifice bunt had moved him there earlier in the inning.
Bowie started the scoring with a run in the first. A two-out walk set up an RBI triple for Ademar Rifaela that made it 1-0 Orioles affiliate.
New Hampshire scored its first runs of the series in the top of the fourth. Kevin Smith's two-out, two-RBI double brought home a pair to put the 'Cats up 2-1.
The lead would be short-lived. Consecutive one-out doubles tied the game 2-2 through four, and that score would hold until Diaz's heroics in the tenth.
Notable

  • Hector Perez logged five innings, allowed two runs on four hits, walked three and struck out six.
  • Tayler Saucedo worked 2.2 innings of scoreless relief.
