The Senators dropped a rain-shortened game two of their doubleheader at Richmond Thursday 1-0. With the win, Richmond swept the DH from the Senators and have won the first three games of the six-game series. The Senators have lost four straight overall.
ON CAPITAL HILL
Andrew Lee started and pitched four innings, allowing a run on two hits. He struck out five and walked two.
Gabe Klobosits pitched one-third of an inning before the rains came and caused the game to be called early.
WITH THE GAVEL
Aldrem Corredor went 2-for-2 and had the only two hits for the Senators.
FILIBUSTERS
It was the eighth time in 32 games the Senators have been shutout. The loss dropped the Senators to a season-low 12 games under .500.
