Travs Announce 2015 Promotions Calendar

LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas Travelers, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, are excited to announce the 2015 promotional calendar and additions to the Dickey-Stephens Park in-game fan experience.

Postgame fireworks, a Matt Shoemaker bobblehead, midget wrestling, bark in the ballpark, the diamond & remote digs, an Xpogo extreme pogo show, and the return of both clunker car & clunker boat nights highlight the many 2015 promotions at Dickey-Stephens Park. Faith & Family Night with a postgame concert & three custom jersey auctions will also be featured.

For a second-straight season, each Sunday will be "Operation Military Appreciation" at DSP where a Military ID gets you $3 off your ticket ($1 off all other nights) while the Travs sport their custom camouflage jerseys. Sunday is also "Family Day" where fans can enjoy Sunday morning at church, and bring their church bulletin to the park to receive $10 admission for the entire family, which includes two adults and up to four children 14 & under! Every Wednesday (excluding 4/29) will feature $1 hot dogs, and Thursday Theme Nights make a triumphant return this season as well.

Fans will have the opportunity to enjoy new concessions items this season, including the fried bologna sandwich, and the "Fudge Puppy" - a freshly made Belgian waffle on a stick, covered in chocolate sauce, whipped cream & nuts.

New in-stadium additions include a trackless train that will be choo-chooing our young Travs fans around the concourse all game long, a brand new arcade behind home plate featuring "Big Buck Hunter Pro," "Galaga," and "Drift," a car racing game, brand new inflatables highlighted by an Otey bounce house, and new points of sale in all concession areas. Credit cards will now be accepted everywhere in Dickey-Stephens Park. The Travs have also added an additional will-call ticket window to expedite service.

2015 Thursday Theme Nights include: Princess & Pirate Night, Star Wars Night, Go Country Night, Back to the Future Night, Super Hero Night, Christmas in July, Life's a Beach Night and Halloween Night.

Every Tuesday will be a "Zoosday Tuesday" featuring different animals from the Little Rock Zoo at DSP. Kids will receive a ticket for free admission to the Little Rock Zoo by simply checking out the animals at the ballpark.

Other giveaways include: A Travs calendar, magnet schedules, croakies, sun glasses, scarves, thunder stix, umbrellas, aluminum water bottles, a shotgun, baseballs, team photos, team card sets and rally towels.

New in 2015, fans will have the opportunity to join Travs broadcasts with the debut of the "Broadcast from the Stands" series. Travelers' broadcasters Robbie Aaron & Michael West will broadcast select games from different areas around Dickey-Stephens Park, and invite fans to join them for a half inning.

Dickey-Stephens Park will again be open to the public for both of the Downtown Fireworks shows on Sunday, May 24^th and Saturday, July 4^th. Watch the fireworks shows from the best seats in town and enjoy all of the Dickey-Stephens Park concessions items in a family-friendly atmosphere.
