Trenton, NJ - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats were routed 9-0 by the Trenton Thunder on Sunday, dropping their 14th consecutive game to the Yankees affiliate by a final score of 9-0.
The Thunder scored a pair in the third to take the lead and never looked back. After two runs came across on a sacrifice fly - which featured an error to plate the second run - in the third, three-run home runs from Billy Fleming in the fifth and Jorge Saez in the seventh catapulted the Thunder to their 9-0 advantage. Tito Polo also had an RBI single in the game.

Carlos Ramirez and Justin Shafer pitched scoreless innings of relief, the former striking out four and the latter twirling a perfect eighth. Alex Monsalve led the way on offense with two hits in four trips.
The shutout was the ninth time the 'Cats have been blanked by an opponent this season. They went 1-26 with runners in scoring position and left 27 runners on base in three games in which they were outscored 15-4.
After the Eastern League All-Star Classic on July 11 and 12 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium, the Fisher Cats will resume play on Thursday, July 13 when Portland makes its second visit of the season. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. and can be heard locally on AM 610 WGIR or online via iHeartRadio.
