LANCASTER, Calif. - Lancaster jumped out to an early four-run lead, but could not hold on in a 7-5 loss to the Modesto Nuts at The Hangar Friday night. The Nuts amassed 14 hits to hand the JetHawks their first loss of the season.
Lancaster (1-1) scored in the first two innings for the second-straight night.
Modesto (1-1) tied the game with a run in the top of the second, but the JetHawks pushed four across in the bottom of the inning.
