Lawrenceville, Ga. - The SWB RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) claimed their sixth straight regular season victory at Coolray Field on Monday night, shutting out the Gwinnett Braves 5-0. The RailRiders (73-41) have won four straight overall and, including last year's Governors' Cup Championship Series, have blanked the G-Braves (55-58) for 27 straight innings in North Georgia.
The RailRiders ignited for five runs over the first four innings against
Solano rounded out the scoring in the fourth when he towered his second homer of the year over the left-center wall.
Four pitchers combined to retire 18 of the final 20 batters and 22-of-26 to finish the team's 12th shutout win.
