St. Joseph Regional Health Network to Sponsor '67 Club Picnic Area

New naming rights deal is part of seven-year partnership between St. Joseph's and Fightins
November 17, 2014

The Reading Fightin Phils, Double-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, have announced that St. Joseph Regional Health Network is now the title sponsor of the '67 Club Picnic Area at FirstEnergy Stadium as part of a new seven-year partnership between the two organizations. Beginning with the 2015 season, the picnic area will be known as the St. Joseph Regional Health Network '67 Club Picnic Area.

"We're happy to continue and grow our relationship with St. Joseph Regional Health Network," said Fightins General Manager Scott Hunsicker. "Partnering our popular picnic area with a local and highly-renowned health network like St. Joseph's will help both organizations flourish in the near future."

Along with the title sponsorship, St. Joseph Regional Health Network will continue to hold tickets and other marketing opportunities with the Fightins.

As the original group picnic area at FirstEnergy Stadium, the historic St. Joseph Regional Health Network '67 Club Picnic Area is located next to third base and puts its guests closer to the action than any of the other picnic areas at America's Classic Ballpark. The area pays tribute to Reading's long-standing relationship with the Philadelphia Phillies and each of the 28 tables in the '67 Club are named after Phillies greats who have come through Baseballtown over the past 49 years. Groups or individuals who sit in the '67 Club Area also receive a 2 ½ hour all-you-can-eat buffet.

The St. Joseph Regional Health Network is a not-for-profit, tax-exempt hospital with 1566 employees and is the 8th largest employer in Berks County. Found in 1873 by the Sisters of St. Francis, the medical center provides a full-range of outpatient and inpatient diagnostic, medial, and surgical services to Berks County's 410,000 residents. Recognized for its innovations in cardiology, pulmonary, vascular oncology, orthopedic, wound care, general surgery, stroke care, and women's services, St. Joseph Regional Health Network is affiliated with the Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI), a national nonprofit health system with headquarters in Englewood, Colorado.
