(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, B.C.) - We are fast approaching our 5^th Annual Scotiabank Vancouver Canadians Hot Stove Luncheon, set for Friday, January 23rd, 2015 beginning at 12noon, and this year's event will without question be the most entertaining yet! Once again we will be welcoming the Toronto Blue Jays who will bring forth a catalog of players that will be in attendance at our event and make this year's luncheon the talk of Vancouver.

In support of the Vancouver Canadians Baseball Foundation, we are bringing together our committed fan base along with our dedicated corporate partners to raise funding and awareness for the many community initiatives that include helping upward of 300 local children find hope and opportunity through our efforts.

Last year alone, our Scotiabank Vancouver Canadians Hot Stove Luncheon raised over $175,000 toward a number of key philanthropic visions set forth in 2014. The Vancouver Canadians Baseball League brought children from 11 districts throughout the Lower Mainland out to Scotiabank Field to play baseball throughout the summer. We provided the University of British Columbia with a full scholarship to be used on a local student/athlete and we helped a number of families from our own community that have children registered with Challenger Baseball, a league that helps kids with physical and cognitive challenges.

We have been working tirelessly to ensure that we have a fantastic live and silent auction available to you at this year's event as well as a production that leaves you raring to go for the upcoming baseball season. Our efforts combined with those of the Toronto Blue Jays should make our 5^th annual Scotiabank Vancouver Canadians Hot Stove Luncheon the best one we have ever hosted.
